SUICIDAL ANGELS Parts Ways With Guitarist, Announces Replacement

April 10, 2009

Greek old-school thrashers SUICIDAL ANGELS have issued the following update:

"Unfortunately, after four years, Themis [guitar] was forced to leave the band. His rather increased responsibilities on his work as a trainee cardiologist didn't let him the appropriate time to follow on tours and the schedule of the band. He is leaving as a very close friend of the band and one of the best partners that we had through these last four years. The new guitar player, who will replace Themis, is already found. He is a young and very talented guitar player, named Vaggelis, who SUICIDAL ANGELS officially welcome to the band. We altogether believe and hope that he is following the band to its very end, no matter which will be. His first appearance on stage will be on the 20th of September, when SUICIDAL ANGELS will appear at An Club along with LEGION OF THE DAMNED. We are looking forward to your friendly and warm welcome to him, since it's going to be his official presentation.
"Concerning our friends and fans abroad, it's less than a month remaining for the European Massacre Tour, along with FUELED BY FIRE and BONDED BY BLOOD. It's going to be a 100% pure thrash holocaust and we will be rather glad to meet you all again, and we are really looking forward to it."

The band will tour Europe with BONDED BY BLOOD and FUELED BY FIRE, starting off in Leeds, England on May 7 and roaming through the continent until mid-June.

SUICIDAL ANGELS' debut album, "Eternal Domination", was released in July 2007 via OSM Records.
